  • Do you provide online as well as face to face sessions?

    I provide both depending on where you live or your circumstances.


    • The majority of Career Counselling client’s sessions are held online and can be available outside of business hours to fit in with client’s timetables and situations.
    • NDIS Participants requiring face to face sessions – these are available in Toowoomba and Warwick only, in these cases I can visit you at your home. If you have basic computer skills and an email we can also do zoom online sessions from your mobile phone or computer. 
    • This is an easy process and works well and ndis participants feel comfortable working online. 
    • I provide Online Services to people living throughout Queensland and NSW. I am based in the Toowoomba and Warwick region, and have many clients who live in or near Dalby, Gatton, Kingaroy, Esk, Laidley and other regional areas. As long as you can access the internet we can work online.

  • How can Career Transition Plan sessions help me?

    I can assist you to learn more about yourself, your strengths, what motivates you and identify your specific skillsets, together we discuss and investigate a range of areas to find a career path that meets your lifestyle and professional goals.  Sessions help you to gain a fresh, new perspective on your employment choices and career situation, and learn what steps to take to develop your career pathway plan for both short and long term.

  • How many sessions will I need?

    • Each client has specific needs and circumstances but usually 2 or 3 sessions will provide the support and information that you require to develop your Career Transition Plan and start Actioning on Them.
    • Also you may like to develop a range of skills by participating in one of the Programs offered – (Click onto Services Button to read details for each of these programs).

  • Can Career Counselling help me prepare for a new job or gain new qualifications?

    • Career Counselling sessions can explain and guide you on your eligibility for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Credit Transfer, and how you can Fast Track your Gap Skill Training options.
    • Career Counsellors help clients with career choices, and job-seeking skills. You are supported in preparing a Resume and Cover Letter, positioning yourself for Interviews and attending your first day at work.
    • Also self-development, Skilling for Employability - such as working in team’s communications, time management, setting goals, prioritising tasks, problem solving and decision making, report writing and general administrative tasks, managing anxiety and developing self-motivation skills.
    • Career Counselling can provide you with course and workshop information for study at   Universities, Training Organisations, and private Workshops. And work with you as you decide which might be most suitable for your needs.
    • A Career Counsellor can provide ongoing support for individuals seeking help to cope with or transition from a Toxic Work Environment, and provide strategies to manage Anxiety, Stress, Anger, and Depression while they prepare their safe Exit From Employment Plan.

  • Do you provide services to ndis Participants?

    Yes I have been supporting people with a disability by providing Capacity Building services to ndis Participants for over 8 years, both online and visiting at homes in nearby regions.

  • What NDIS categories can you provide?

    I can provide services under the Capacity Building category, so if you have any of the below stated on your ndis Plan – give me a call and I can explain how I can provide this to you.

    • Finding and Keeping a Job - Supports that help you find and keep a job. This may include employment-related support, training, and assessments.
    • Improved Daily Living - Supports including assessment, training, or therapy to maintain, develop or increase your skills and capacity for independence, employment and community participation.
